bay_lights Most of what we hear when folks talk about the Bay Bridge are reports or complaints about traffic, construction and overbudget seismic retrofits. But coming in March, the Bay Bridge will be host to something other than a traffic jam. The Bay Lights is an art installation that melds art and technology and symbolizes the relationship between the two. Made of of 25,000 LED lights installed on various spans of the structure, the grand illumination is set for March 5, though we are lucky enough at Cabrio's shop to see some of the evening dress rehearsals as we have a bird's eye view of the south span of the bridge from our lounge. We are proud to serve as a partner for next week's grand lighting celebration on March 5 at 8:30pm and look forward to seeing you there. A video rendering of the planned sculpture. We can't wait to see the real thing on a pedicab by the Bay (Bridge)!
